2026 VOLK Care's Day

On September 1, our entire team will be taking part in VOLK CARES DAY. Rather than focusing on production for that one day, the whole Volk Team will be stepping away from our normal responsibilities to live out our Mission Statement.  

 

Our Mission Statement includes a commitment to care for our community. On September 1, we will walk the talk. Everyone at Volk Packaging will be out of the building, giving back to our community and supporting the people and organizations around us. 

 

We recognize that taking a day away from production is a significant commitment, but we believe being a good company means doing good work. It is about more than just the bottom line. Our people, our customers, and the communities we are a part of matter to us, and our VOLK CARES DAY is one way we put our Mission, Vision and Values into action. 

 

We appreciate your understanding and continued partnership. We are proud of our team for choosing to give back, and we know this day will make a meaningful difference in our community.

On September 1, 2026, 5 employee's from VOLK Packaging through out New England came to Mayflower Place to volunteer their time to assist the maintenance department in removing decking boards and triming overgrowth and shrubs. The Sanford Housing Authority would like to thank the VOLK team members for their hard work.

2026 United Way Day of Action

As part of this year's United Way Day of Action, four volunteers from The Baker Company joined Sanford Housing Authority staff at East Side Acres, our family housing community, on Thursday, June 25, to help pressure wash the exterior siding.

We extend our sincere thanks to the volunteers from The Baker Company, the staff of the Sanford Housing Authority, and United Way for their partnership and support. Their hard work and dedication helped make this project a success, and we are truly grateful for their commitment to strengthening our community.

Together, we continue to make a positive difference for the families we serve.

2025 United Way Day of Action

Kennebunk Savings Volunteers & SHA Staff

On Friday, June 20th as part of The United Way's Day of Action, six volunteers from Kennebunk Savings Bank assisted staff with landscaping tasks at our two senior developments, The Maples at Mayflower Place and Mayflower Place. The work consisted of spreading loam and seed in several locations as well as spreading bark mulch around shrubbery. A special thanks to the volunteers, SHA Staff, Kennebunk Savings and the United Way for their participation in the program.
